Marysville Christmas Walk
First Church will be joining in on the Marysville Christmas Walk on 11/30. We will be sharing our restrooms, and will have some Carolers, Plum Pudding, Hot Chocolate and Cider, tours of the building, and more. We are looking forward to seeing you here!
The Special Needs Pantry of Marysville
is collecting children and adult mittens, gloves, and socks for this winter. There will be two boxes, one at Kennedy Hall and one at the Sanctuary entrance for these donations. Please help those who are in need as the weather turns colder.
Our Midweek Youth Program
ALL YOUTH grades 1-12 are invited to our midweek program on Wednesday evenings. All students are in meal time, fun time and worship skills from 6:00 to 7:20. Grades 1-4 should arrive at 5:30 for Bible Study. Grades 5-12 stay for Bible Study from 7:20 to 7:45.

18th November/May Birthday Celebration Night
25th Pie baking at 9:00 am. All friends and alumni are invited to join the fun. No Midweek program this evening.
Thanks to all who have given one wednesday [or more! for our youth. Please consider donating one Wednesday before January and one Wednesday after January to our youth. Come set tables, be a table parent or help with clean up. See Margo Lane or Kim Kinsey.

You are invited to join us for five nights of food, fun, Bible stories, and fellowship. Ask your parents to fill out a registration form at church any Sunday or pick one up at the office so we can plan for you to be with us. Bring Mom and Dad the first night so you can learn about our program and enjoy pizza. We will end Friday with a cookout and summer fun. We look forward to seeing you!

The summer hours will be in effect from the first Sunday in July through the first Sunday in September. We will go back to the regular schedule the second Sunday in September. Service will be at 10 a.m. See you there!

Church Work Day
This is a reminder of the cleanup day at the church on Saturday May 9, 2009. The cooks will be there at 6:30 am to prepare breakfast for the crew. The meal will be served at 7:30, rain or shine. The work should begin around 8:30 and continue until finished. Remember many hands make light work. Come and help with this worthy project and enjoy some great fellowship.

PALM - PASSION SUNDAY - APRIL 5th
Again this year our Chancel Choir will be presenting an original Cantata in our Palm - Passion Sunday worship service. This year it will be Matthew's Temple which explains the unique way the Gospel According to Matthew presents the concept of the old and the new temple. Please plan to join us at 8;30 am in the Upper Room or at 10:30 a.m. in our Sanctuary for this special presentation.

Easter Candy Donations
The Deacons are collecting individually wrapped candy to make Easter baskets for the Marysville Food Pantry. You can help us out by purchasing candy in the next few weeks and placing the bags in the Easter boxes that are located at each entrance.
Pancake Supper!
An all-you-can-eat pancake and sausage supper is coming your way on Shrove Tuesday, Feb 24th. The times will be from 5:00-7:00 p.m. in Kennedy Hall. The Logos youth will be on hand to cook your food and serve you. All proceeds from the evening will be used to defray expenses for those traveling to the Logos Youth Conference in Virginia in July. Tickets can be purchased ahead of time from a high school Logos participant or adult leaders Mary Ann Corbin or Jane Mosier. Prices are $5.00 for anyone 10 and older, and $3.50 for children under 10. Tickets will also be available at the door.
